A trip to the facial rejuvenation clinic

Friday Nov 09, 2018
In this episode I am talking to Dr Fiona Peer, who runs a clinic in London specialising in Botox and fillers - things that I only really know about from laughing at plastic-faced people on the telly. Fiona is also a consultant anaesthetist, so she is a proper responsible doctor who made me feel I was in very good hands...
For more info on her work, see the Peer Clinic website.

Loui Blake - a different kind of vegan

I went for the CBD coffee, and ended up thinking a lot more about eating plants. Loui Blake runs Erpingham House in Norwich, the UK's largest vegan restaurant. As a committed meat eater, I thought I'd feel a bit out of place, but Loui's all about welcoming in people like me and showing us that plants don't need to be boring.
It's a great place, and Loui is really inspirational. He's already made me reconsider some of my unthinking animal consumption practices. Still eating flesh, but maybe thinking about it a little less.
On my trip to Norwich something went wrong with one of my microphones. Loui sounds clear, I sound far away, hopefully this doesn't distract from the listening experience too much. It may even improve it.

In this episode I am talking to the knowledgeable and lovely Alice Mackintosh, a nutritional therapist who runs a clinic in London for people with a whole range of health issues.
I've got to that stage where I realise I have eaten enough processed rubbish for a whole lifetime, so want to learn all I can about how to undo the damage. I learnt loads from Alice and had a really fun chat. She can be found at alicemackintosh.com and her award-winning supplement company is equilondon.com.
